It’s time for a quarterly check in on how the U.S. EV market is performing sales-wise. Typically it takes data providers a couple of weeks after the quarter ends to get the full information from all automakers - foreign and domestic.

EV sales here in the U.S. are off to a hot start. According to Kelley Blue Book U.S. battery-electric vehicle sales grew by 30% year-on-year in January 2025. Any industry would gladly take these growth numbers.
But it’s incredibly important to remember that the automotive industry is global.
