“Toon Link” is generally allowed to have more personality than his other incarnations. Going further in that direction could work, but I'm not really sure if this version relies too heavily on physical humor (facilitated by the proportions/art-style) in a way that wouldn't translate well otherwise.

The hardest part is of course finding a viable personality that is iconic enough, fitting enough, and not plain insufferable. Existing attempts so far haven't been very good.

This implementation doesn't properly handle torque from objects with irregular/asymmetric shapes submerged sideways (so you could have a boat stably floating in any orientation) but I'm working around that by having multiple smaller rigid bodies tied together with fixed joint constraints

The ECS/modular nature of Bevy and Avian made buoyancy surprisingly straightforward to implement, and I'm really happy with how close it came out to the plain formulation of Archimedes' principle

Still getting some physics jitter, but doors are finally working as intended. I'll try switching from fixed join constraints to compound colliders to see if the jitter goes away
