A 22 year old who likes ttrpg, warhammer and Battleborn. Mostly Battleborn. Remember Battleborn?

Attempted professional writer.

You know I really hope the Glorantha novel does well because honestly it's a setting that just perfect for more stuff like that.

Like I understand if there is some reservations about it especially after Stafford's tragic death.

But got i want like a sword and Sorcery story in the setting.

You know I don't care what anyone says the Ossirach Bonereapers make age of sigmar worth it.

I genuinely can't understate how excited I am for this.
Like this is decades I the making.
Glorantha is one of the best settings ever and I am so happy to see it finally get a novel.
Now hoping this is not the only one.
Greg Stafford's forthcoming A Pyre for Gods and Heroes is a novel that #RuneQuest and #Glorantha fans will certainly enjoy, but we’re proud to say this is a book that you could hand to a non-gamer friend too and say, "read this, THIS is why we love the setting." Coming in 2026.

So the Dark Heresy Alpha was fun.

Loved Ra'akthi, COGG was fun, and Laarthyr had a mysterious aura to him I liked (and he was quite distinct from the Eldar of Rogue Trader which is nice.)

Surprisingly one of my stand outs was Epione. She was honestly really funny.

Music mostly. I write to the beat. That really isn't a joke either.
sometimes artists (visual) will talk about how they do anatomy studies, drawing things over and over to get it right

musicians practice, playing a part of a piece over and over to get it right

what is novel writing practice, huh?

Here's a hot take no one talks about Agw of sigmar more than people who hate age of sigmar.

And also most of the opinions they have are let's say out of date.

You know for a series that apparently has no cultural impact.

People can't shut the fuck up about the avatar films.

I got the rejection letter and I just wanted to thank you all for the chance and congratulate those who were accepted.
Those waiting on submissions may like to know, sort of, that rejections have begun being sent out today.

Yeah I also did it this year. I am actually too ashamed of my writing to share it which I do apologise for.

I wrote Lelith and Jain-Zar which is a pairing that I don't think has actually happened in the lore surprisingly.

It was fun. Ah but next year I'll write something slightly better. I hope.
Happy Black Library Rejection Day to all who celebrate! (Me, for example)

Regardless of the outcome, I had a really great time working on this. Both trying to capture Szeras megalomaniac voice, and how weirdly flirty Urien came out in my interpretation.

Best of luck to all still in the running 🖤🖤🖤

Age of sigmar fans are still winning.

Hey if anyone who follows me and has an interest in warhammer I just got to say. Check out age of sigmar.

It's great for a lot of reasons but one of the biggest.

Gryph-hounds.

I made this. If you're interested for any reason please give it a look. Any Feedback is appreciated.

Beatrix from Battleborn is the most Drukhari non-Drukhari ever and it is a shame not more Drukhari fans know about her.

You know how speed racer is like one of the best movies ever made?

Well Battleborn is the speed racer of video games.

It still kind of blows my mind that Necromunda has never gotten a true ttrpg adaption. It is like the perfect setting for it.
I am picturing a mixture of dark heresy and 2020.

Ian Watson should get one more 40k novel. For like fun but also I think he deserves it.
They guy got the setting better then most.
I want to see what he would do. But this time fully unleashed.

You know I'm sick of arguing about Targaryens and Valyrians over on twitter. (Which my god I should finally fully leave)

So I am just going to say this. Valyrians are just remarkable less interesting Melnibonians.

Like seriously so less interesting.

A very interesting thing I've noticed that I've seen a lot of people who don't like wrath of the righteous but do really love Rogue trader.

But very rarely do I see someone who likes both prefer rogue trader to wrath.

I know kind of wish we could bring Malice back with us.
We could build him a nice little snake enclosure, which is actually the size of a city block.
But seriously I want the alien snake bodyguard.
I love the part n Rogue Trader where you have to sort out a heat lamp for a Ssylth *chef kiss*

If GW did make stand alone novels starting the rogue trader companions, my prediction is.

The Marazhai one would do the best.
The Yrliet one would be considered the best.
The Pasqul one would be the most notable for the lore.
While the Idira one would be actually best one.

This is brilliantly well done and there were a couple of moments where I was sitting here going ‘yep, you get it!’

Worth a watch if you have any interest in Valkia the Bloody. :)

@jetblackraider.itch.io looks like a fine vacation spot.
The Drukhari believe that the insignificant lives of other races have little purpose beyond satiating their unquenchable thirst for suffering These terrifying monsters revel in the terror and anguish of their victims.
March 10, 2025 at 8:51 PM
I did it. I sent something in to the black library open submissions.

If anyone sees please wish me good luck.

If not for me, for Jain-Zar.
