I would sniff it. If it’s been refrigerated since you bought it, I would expect it to be OK.

I went there about 35 years ago (as a regular member of the public) when I was living in Helsinki. I've never forgotten the woodiness of the interior. Made me decide that the ideal colour scheme was wood (goes with everything). I still have a postcard I bought there to remind me.
