Yeah. Typical Luxon not understanding that it isn’t productive wealth though. It doesn’t create jobs. It doesn’t aid the public. It doesn’t help grow NZ’s industries. It’s just wealth accrual and locking people out of home ownership by inflating prices for housing and land.

But that’s the problem with modern conservatism. Never think about the long term and always assume you will win every election.

It’s such a bad faith argument to put forward too. Rather than listen to what the public are saying they’re looking for excuses to ignore major public sentiment.
