While I agree, every riding is a separate election and the CPC could still win even with that dumbass in charge, if a number of variables work in their favour. Every federal election in the foreseeable future is going to be an existential crisis for Canada.

Re the piece’s last para: the CF has hundreds of Public Affairs Officers (I was one) and staff whose job is just that. Problem is that DND/CF is such a bureaucratic nightmare of too much management that very little actually happens to successfully tell these stories.
