At this morning’s #ArmisticeDay service, I laid a wreath at the Recording Angel Memorial in Westminster Hall on behalf of the House of Commons to remember all those from the parliamentary community and beyond who fought for our freedoms.

Today I met with our second cohort of apprentices on the Speaker’s Apprenticeship Academy.

In total we’ve had 14 new apprentices join the scheme in the past year, all working to support the important work we do here in the House of Commons, the home of British democracy.
