It remains my pleasure to inform you all that Craftsman Toys' Tactilord is still an all-timer.
December 2, 2025 at 9:42 PM
I'm not convinced that this is *good*, but it is hella fun!

Anyone else share Ray's desire for a TV Century 21 encyclopaedia??

Out and about in Sheffield to see The D.A.M Trilogy (Dennis Davis, Carlos Alomar, George Murray) perform all the best Bowie music that isn't Ziggy Stardust.

Hmm. It, in turn, depresses me that this person's weekly threads of each issue of TV Century 21 are so bizarrely minimal in their 'critical commentary' that it's tantamount to bootlegging the comic, week after week.

Even within the context of The Prisoner, Colony Three is quietly terrifying. Stripped of the fairy tale fantasy of The Village, the, uh, pre-Village feels much closer to reality. There's no mystery as to its origins or purpose. It's all laid out in stark espionage terror.

You dare to sit there, biscuit-arsed and butter-bollocked, and tell me that Gerry Anderson didn't have an immeasurable influence on anime and tokusatsu?
November 13, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Hello, handsome. 😍😍
November 13, 2025 at 10:03 AM
Handsome lads.
November 6, 2025 at 8:54 PM
We are operating on the chumbliest of vibes.
November 2, 2025 at 4:33 PM
Shockingly, more robots have appeared.

Motton packs in plenty of fast-moving action scenes, particularly in the race-against-time scenes of Scarlet venturing back to Cloudbase. He utilises the SPV's mostly unseen tractor treads to carve itself across country!
November 1, 2025 at 8:32 PM
Scarlet warns Cloudbase in time for Colonel White to deploy the Spectrafan, a component of Cloudbase used to stop runaway jets. Amazingly, the Spectrafan is detailed in the '68 annual's spec rundown of Cloudbase!

Spent the evening reading an unpublished Captain Scarlet comic script! Shall we take a deep dive into David Motton's script?
November 1, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Might just be that I haven't dived into some classic Dredd for a while, but even by Ron Smith's standards, The Stupid Gun is shockingly violent stuff.

Never would have guessed that in the year that gave us Omega Prime and Star Convoy, I'd become smitten with unofficial Legends/Micromaster scale lads.
October 31, 2025 at 5:34 PM
A great bunch of lads!
October 30, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Here are a whole bunch of 3P Autobots. Autonots? Hope you all approve. And don't tell Hasbro's lawyers.
October 29, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Chirst almighty, might just consign my Hasbro figures to history and commit full-time to third-party gear. What a stunner!
October 28, 2025 at 10:11 PM
We saw you from across the room and liked your vibe.

A treat to myself for my continuing adventures in teaching and growing confidence in leading the classroom, but also something to take the sting out of yet another filling needed from the dentist.

Truly, this is the year of third-party shenanigans for Fred.

Pulling together my latest Thunderbirds Deep Dive, and I'm once again struck by how *weird* Thunderbirds became by the end of the series: exploding dog food; aristocratic heists; mutant alligators; aircraft terrorism enabled by pop music!
October 28, 2025 at 10:02 AM
The Powertech Tracy Island was a transforming Tracy Island playset that stayed disguised as the Tracy home - until it was activated! One chunky rockface button was all it took to reveal *four* Thunderbird launch bays with mini vehicles. What a thing!

And it's written by Terence Feely, who would go onto create the Blobs for Space: 1999!
