There is also a quality bar and time invested per model formula somewhere. I want to have a painted complete army. If it's x hours per figure. My completion forecasted date is mid 2026, at best. The rank and file I can cut corners on.

I know my feed has been only food lately. Hhhhm. Gotta think.

I will freely and openly admit I need to get faster in my painting technique. Maybe not contrast paints and speed painting. I do tend to paint slow. But I want to do a good job. There's a sorta psychology analogy about loosening up to not choke up to be made.

I mean setting up takes a bit of time. Getting into that headspace as well. Then cleaning up, packing up. Not to mention travel or driving time. I mean the drive to the nerd store is 30min.

So far it's been helpful with the shopping list consolidation. Not having an unpredictable mountain of leftovers is also a blessing. Refrigerator space is at something of a premium lately. I'm going to be baking some pies. Since we are entering pie season. Stay tuned for those later.

Sausage and Portobello Mushroom Ragu over Polenta. This turned out fabulously, I absolutely plan to make this Ragu again.

ASMR slow sauce pour for the delicious tray bake.

Parsnip & Pear w/ Sausage Tray Bake. This turned out really good. It's been years since I've had anything with parsnips.

I add a splash of red wine vinegar or cider vinegar for a touch of acidity to my salsas.

I need to do this the next time I go to the local Asian market.

I used vallejo rattle cans for the priming and then just a mix of GW and Army Painter (Fanatic) paints with a small bit of Scale75 metallic. Cult of Paint did an incredible video on it. I leaned a little more into the blue and purple tones. Not quite synthwave, but definitely a nod toward it.

Oh it's been around a year and a half. I don't recall the precise palette. I can tell you that I attempted to replicate the scheme that Cult of Paint did. He did a video when the FOMO launch box was over a year and a half ago. Under paint with purple, mid paint with blue, zenithal with light blue.

I came across some circular AI slop. It looks okay but I can't verify it's accuracy or anything. Especially when it calls for 1 cup of dried Chinese sausage. Kinda annoying it has the thing I am attempting to make as an ingredient. I'll keep looking, maybe my cookbooks or Youtube has a good recipe.
