I constantly refer back to this quote when talking about my views on the monarchy. As an individual they may be perfectly fine people but if they believe in the divine right of kings then you have to reckon with problems inherent with your ancestors and the evils that have propped up your privilege.

This might be the first time in a while I've seen how simplistic a vote compass is because in no way shape or form am I outflanked on the left by the NDP.

I'm lucky enough to own a copy of a book written by an anti-fascist that was sent to these camps and is a first hand account of them. Camp K seemed particularly awful. Their time in the Hull jail seemed not so bad according to the author.

Already had to re-rack my mead. Now to let it sit and have the yeast filter to the bottom. It's sitting between 5.9% and 6.3% right now which is one of the lower alcohol contents I've ever made. I'm hoping the flowery herb like flavour stays.

A few days ago I naively agreed to put the NDP signs up for the Ontario election in my town. This was after getting like 2 feet of snow so everyone else's signs were covered. Then it snows another 2-3 feet. I see what you are saying Father Winter. No one wanted or cares about this election.

I love the fact that someone brought their snow machine onto the Ottawa River to make a skating rink on the ice. I might have to get my skates and say thanks.
