Makes sense! When I've had to use them, I left them up all winter—because I needed to. Glad you don't have to deal with this often. Stay as warm as you can!

Better than blankets: those plastic window-covering kits that you stick on and then use a hairdryer to shrink the plastic in place. Or is that just a Minnesota thing? I grew up in Chicago and didn't have them but would never have survived in Minneapolis without them!
