Dude, level 4 meta Strats are so broken, went from being stuck between 1620-1670 to literally getting platinum today starting in the 1630 range. Actually insane, but it was hella fun, they just gotta better balance the items to help with using other setups in a future patch.

A pet peeve of mine is when people say “blank game should be running at 4k60 on switch 2, it was on switch 1?!?!” completely ignoring that the switch 2 version is based on a newer, more intensive version of the game. Like yes, I agree they should be 60, but it can feel pretty ignorant sometimes.

Definitely understand people feeling cynical over the future of pikmin. Even 3 lost some people, and 4 lost a lot more with some gameplay decisions. It’s been going in this direction for a while, but I still do prefer the post apocalyptic feel over co-existing with humans. Just the end of an era ig.

So how did Namco end up making the arcade look worse when you use fidelity mode than performance in re-pac 2. It looks improperly scaled on fidelity (image 1), but even performance (image 2) still looks poor. This might look worse than it did on world 1 re-pac on switch. (From switch 2 version.)

Forgot how nice the gba Klonoa games movement was. Feels great seeing them at 1440p and without Wii U’s dark filter, the pixel art ages phenomenally in these games.

Gonna call this, Nintendo isn’t gonna do ANYTHING for Mario’s 40th anniversary. Why would they when they’re focusing on their new console launch, had a bunch of Mario stuff the last two years, and probably working on the next 3d game anyway? Could release a new 3d Mario but not anniversary related.

I can’t help but feel bittersweet about that katamari announcement. It happening is great, but there’s been a ton of katamari recently.
