At least twice! there's the first cut from the tree/log, then I have to move it manually (carry or drag or sled) to my cutting station, cut into final length, then split with a maul (axe) if needed, and haul up to the house!..lol

Thanks- that's kind of the intent with the Art Advent images-- to make them a bit special/different from straightforward photos I might usually post, and sort of tie them together thematically :)

From my acreage I can mostly see straight up, have to go to the road or look across the neighbours' to see much of what the weather is doing or see sunset or views to the mountains etc ..lol

It's interesting in my immediate region- I really get the big skies mostly out on the highway, as this is also boreal forest so the expansiveness of the view depends on whether you are surrounded by trees or cleared pasture/crop land! --

Some of the policies I really don't get-- my current workplace is really high volume, with huge emphasis on speed (that's another whole issue...) when you have new people they obviously are not as fast, and many mistakes are made which cost more time and huge amounts of waste.
