How sad to wake up to such news. Today our society, our culture, our natural and social sciences have to say good bye to a wonderful mind and person. His ideas will stay with us for decades and centuries. Thanks Dan Dennett! 😔 #Dennett #philsky

Institutions cannot keep pretending that this is not happening; tenured professors should not keep recruiting (through research training promises) PhD students and Postdocs as if they were their nerd-job delivery people, who they'll replace each three years. Academy is far from being a paradise.
Falling behind: postdocs in their thirties tire of putting life on hold www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Interesting! However, despite we share interests, this feature might bombard my follows with posts that are not directly related to their interests. I mean, the interests of my follows are not the same as mine, and vice versa. I follow them because of more organic posts (not from third parties).

Yeah, absolutely! 🤓 It feels great to not be bombarded with random videos and advertisements. This network is a digitally refreshing shelter; let's hope it stays that way.
Hi everyone 👋
