The Soulmaster boss battle might be the end of my Hollow Knight journey. I just don't know if I have the interest to put hours and hours into the four rounds of phase 1 plus phase 2 of this fight. It's not even that difficult! But I mess up often enough that I die before I get even close to the end.

One of the best parts of living in PDX is Books With Pictures. Filled with so many wonderful comics, and always welcoming.
Hollow Knight is simultaneously one of the most frustrating and addictive games I've ever played. I honestly didn't think I'd make it very far into it, but I've been chipping away at it, and so far, have overcome each boss/challenge even when it took many tries.

Watched the first episode of The Mighty Nein and it was so good!!? I liked LoVM, but this is on a whole other level. I'm so glad the episodes are longer, too. #CriticalRole

Saw Sigur Rós tonight, and it was a beautiful, meditative concert with some of my favorite songs from Takk, like Glósóli and Hoppípolla. They also played Starálfur, which is maybe my favorite song of theirs aside from Viðrar vel til loftárása.

The walk that Dakota Johnson's character takes in the opening scene of Materialists makes no sense if you know the neighborhoods that she's walking through. Why would you walk to Astor Place if you live in SoHo and want to end up at Joseph Leonard on Waverly Place? Ah, movie editing.

Absolutely made the right decision to skip the farmers market today because it's pouring out and sleep until 10am. I may actually have the energy to frame some prints I bought at NYCC!

Came back from NYC at 1am last night (flight was delayed by 2.5hrs). This morning, I went to Trader Joe's, and realized at checkout that I'd left both my wallet and phone at home. This is why I came back a day early to recover (it was an amazing trip, though, and I had a NY bagel for breakfast!).
