At this point I’m rather surprised Canada is still continuing preclearance for US-bound flights.
Maybe EU and Canada could struck a deal to reuse it as an EU-preclearance facility instead 🤷♀️

I was able to witness this conversation at FOSDEM and I still giggle about how smooth that was:

Mein Mitgefühl geht an diejenigen FDP-Mitgliedys, welche nun ratlos vor der Pressemitteilung stehen.
Szenarienplanung hin oder her - sowas kann man unter keinen Umständen D-Day nennen. Aber gut, in einem Jahr ist das sowieso alles vergessen.

At this point we are going to get a 25% Tariff on Digital Media purchases because the DMA is "unfair to the American consumer".
