Oh, I loved him. His autograph was one of the first I obtained when I was very young. He began recognizing us and continued to give us his autograph whenever he spotted us.

Our junior high was such an afterthought by the Catholic church that the nuns declined to teach us trad U.S. history. Instead, we learned about Mezo American/Black/Asian Am history for 2 years. But the diocese stuck one horny ass priest with our school.
