The difficulty in getting a really basic diagnosis or even just a *word* to describe what’s happening when you have a kid with any kind of special need is so goddamned maddening. There’s not even, like, a pediatrician who just says “oh, looks like X. Go see an Xtician and they’ll sort you out.”
