Newsom’s turnaround has been pretty incredible. He went from the most conciliatory elected Dem vis a vis Trump to the most willing to fight and meet the Republicans at their level. I think he seriously read the room and decided to change his strategy.

I can’t get over this dude’s 19th century oil baron outfit, it’s giving incel LARPing as Gov’t official. The pocket watch, lapeled suit vest, and the way his striped shirt makes his tie look like it’s outlined with a sharpie are the worst parts to me.
