February promo post

Hi I'm spoonshiro, just an old man who likes retro games and RPGs and is probably constantly playing one or the other (or both)

Some favorites include Baldur's Gate, Ultima, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Mother/Earthbound, Undertale/Deltarune and all things Zelda

Every interaction I had with Angel he was always nice to me. Now to find you he’s actually a giant POS. Never talking to this guy again!!

Yes & no. I think multiple playthroughs can expose flaws you didn’t notice before, but it can also reveal or reinforce great aspects about a game that went overlooked.
I think one of the worst things a game can do is have trophies or achievements that mandate multiple playthroughs, with the exception being if the game is shorter, such as most Resident Evil games. For longer games, it generally brings flaws to the surface you likely didn’t notice the first run.

I’ve been going through a lot this year

But I am beginning a new chapter in my life

A Much Needed Update:
Now, I’ll have a week off to play video games, watch anime, clean up my house, and spend time with my wife before starting the next chapter in my life. I spent the first six months of the year…

Fuckit, I said it elsewhere, I'll say it again here.

All work should be compensated the same regardless of an actor's status. Demon Slayer is a union dub, but the addition of Tatum likely means that the wage discrepancy here is SIGNIFICANT because union contracts can always be renegotiated.
If you had actor Channing Tatum joining the cast of the 1st Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle film on your bingo board, then you win anime bingo for life!

Rebecca Wang also joins cast of September 21 film

We didn’t call them ‘pixels’ back then.
They were forests. Dungeons. Skies.
Whole universes folded into a gray box with purple buttons.

Mario was our joy.
Terra, our grief.
Link, our courage.
Chrono, our hope.

The SNES didn’t just play games…
It gave our childhoods a soul 💙🎮

I second what Aly said. I don't care what you've gone through in your life. If your response to a post about someone reminiscing about an important time in their life is insults and vitriol, you're a bitch, and you will be called out for it. @mightymog.bsky.social, we got you!
If you go on someone’s nostalgia post and bring nothing but negativity and try to bring someone down, you’re a little bitch. Rather hypocritical to tell someone to grow up, when you’re conducting yourself like a fuckin bitch ass toddler.

90s gaming wasn’t a hobby.
It was sacred.

Blowing on cartridges. That PS1 startup sound. The chunky gray N64 controller. Memory cards. Nintendo Power. Strategy guides. No internet. No updates. Just you and the game.

We didn’t know it then, but those were the golden days💙🎮

Your periodic reminder that the estimated cost to end hunger in the U.S. is $25 billion.

The cost to end homelessness in the U.S. is also only $10 billion a year with a housing-first approach.

Billionaires are directly stealing from all of us.

Every single person you interact with can offer you a lesson in life, whether they’re an active teacher or not. This can be based on positive aspects, negative aspects, or both. Don’t let any interaction go to waste. There’s always something to learn from it, even if it’s as simple as how not to be.
