I'm going to get a bit serious after another mass shooting in the USA falling in the eve of today, the anniversary of Sandy Hook right here in my home state.

This senseless gun violence has to end.

Friday morning walk to the lake. I should have brought my skates.
The sun shines through the top of a tall evergreen tree and on to a frozen lake surface Blue sky above. Smooth frozen lake with a view towards the far end from Children's Beach. The ice is quite smooth right now. Almost like glass with leaves embedded into it. Blue sky above. It was only 23 degrees when I took this photo and it kind of looks like that temperature to me. Gideon is a Greaty Pyrenees/Plott Hound mix with white and brown/brindle fluffy fur and beautiful brown eyes. He's 7 today! Here is he is resting in the grass looking handsome. Gideon basking in the sun on an autumn day with his very floofy white and brown/brindle coat. He's a 7 year old Greaty Pryenees/Plott Hound Mix and a good boy. Gideon and Samson in the sunlight.
