As seen in this ad from 1928. Wonder Bread was originally "Wonder-Cut" bread because they sold presliced bread from the beginning. (Al's Bakery bought the assets of the Chillicothe Baking Company, the pioneers of sliced bread. The building is now the Sliced Bread Museum in Chillicothe, Missouri.)
An old-time ad for "Al's Sliced Bread" which describes it as "The greatest forward step in the baking industry since wrapped bread".

I had a shirt exactly like this in fourth grade (1979-1980). Pretty sure it was some sort of poly/cotton blend, from either Sears or Penney’s.
A pullover knit shirt with ring cuffs and a three-button placket with a spread collar. The base color is white, the cuffs and collar are brown, and there is a set of six stripes forming a gradient from brown at the top to mustard yellow at the bottom.

One might say I'm a big fan of the story of the Headless Horseman. And Sleepy Hollow certainly leans into its fame.

This bit, though, is utter nonsense. Pick any month between January 2017 and January 2021 and you'll find that approximatly 3x as many people were apprehended at the border in the equivalent month between January 2021 and January 2025.

959 years ago, the Duke of Normandy, William the Bastard, got a name change after defeating the armies of King Harold Godwinson at the Battle of Hastings. Harold was killed in the battle, leaving England kingless. After a few months of mopping up, William was crowned King on Christmas Day, 1066.
