The #KursaalWard councillors hold two community advice surgeries each month.
❖The second Saturday of each month at Belle Vue Baptist Church, 10.00-12.00.
❖The third Thursday of each month at Southend Adult Community College, 16.30-18.30.
No appointments are required.

Southend Shakespeare Company's latest production, Much Ado About Nothing, starts its run this evening.
The play shows at the Dixon Studio, at the Palace Theatre, from tonight (25 November) to 29 November, with evening shows at 19.45 and a matinee on the Saturday at 15.00.

Walking down to watch the final seafront firework display of the season last night, I noticed these two streetlights out of order by Sealife Adventure, in #KursaalWard. They have now been reported to Southend Council for repair.

A curiously different experience, watching fireworks in the fog, but still a good show enjoyed by hundreds on the beach and seafront.

I've been back down on Southend Pier again today, and it's really fantastic to see Poppies on the Pier doing so well. It's now being extended to Sunday 23 November, so that's even more time to get down here and see the display.
