listening to the BNL album "Everything to Everyone. I'm just remarking at what a great record this is. Aluminum is one of my very favorite songs. For You is a tremendous piece of art. Celebrity is ... stunning.

One of the most underrated releases ever. the mixing, the voices, harmonies. chills.

Gondelman making me homesick for a place I moved to in 1984 and moved away from in 2017, and hell yes. I want a junior beef 3 way with COB from Nick's Roast Beef in Beverly.
I had the BEST time with the Curiosity Desk team at GBH scouring the North Shore for its greatest roast beef sandwiches. I hope I did the true beefers proud!!! 🫡

every single day he brings a new offense to the vast majority of american people. he really does. to say Khashoggi was controversial, not liked? by many?

that means it's ok to kill him? and then deny the guy sitting next to you gave the order?

I was absolutely appalled & offended when I saw the name of the latest DHS "operation.". Naming your anti-immigrant offensive after a very beloved children's book based on love & loyalty is shitty. I'm sure they thought it was clever.

Read this insightful take.

Gregory Bovino is exactly who E.B. White — author of 'Charlotte's Web' — warned us about
DHS named its North Carolina anti-immigrant effort "Operation Charlotte's Web." In 1940, White wrote of the "smell" that "rises" from those who "adjust to fascism" over freedom.

This is an absolute untruth.

My husband & I have a combined income of over 200k, we saved 80k for a house we just bought. We are in our late 50s & finally got here.

Younger people can't buy houses because they make 50k a year, live paycheck to paycheck, and houses are 600k in most cities. 1/3
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Who knew this could be so interesting.

I mean this as an honest question.

Why are people in videos holding their little tiny microphones in front of their faces?

Don't we have better microphone technology for video creators in this the year of our lord 2025?

Am I the only one who finds this incredibly weird to see?

discuss?

on veterans day I think of the Mike Birbiglia bit where he says:

"I love the troops. Because if they weren't the troops *I* would be the troops, and I would be the worst troops."

This stays with me forever. I too would be the worst troops.

Here's to the veterans. All of them.

I tried to buy plane tickets to fly up to see mom in Mass. But no.

1. Didn't trust these jerks, figured my flight would get canceled while I was in the airport
2. 300 bucks each way to fly to Providence from BWI. The hell?
3. It's not even Thanksgiving yet.

Annual reminder that the fake spider webs you stretch across your front porch look nothing like spider webs and instead just look like you murdered a sweater and have hung up its flayed corpse as a grim warning to all other knitwear.

no you won't. stop talking about this. stop "flirting" w/ the idea. Shut up Bannon, Shut up everyone.

Absolutely illegal, absolutely unconstitutional.

Just everyone STFU. Do not feed the troll.
Trump keeps flirting with the idea of a third term. That would be unconstitutional
