it's kind of a worn-out pothead trope sure, but it's true: it is insane that alcohol is legal basically everywhere and there's still way more moral panic around weed. It's just objectively not anywhere near as dangerous a drug

I strongly prefer edible weed to booze as I'm getting middle-aged, but I heard they were closing the federal loophole for this a while back. I'm just hoping most of this stuff is still available in Illinois and it has some serious electoral consequences
