It's fun for me that "THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" lies the same way my mother-in-law lies, e.g. "I asked the doctor if I should have a cognitive evaluation and he laughed because my memory is so remarkably good!"

At least she can't nuke anybody

Doing my part to refute this by being both a Presbyerian and shamefully prodigal in my spending on Little Treats

Pondering this. My Spanish mother-in-law is deeply emotionally invested in "the Scots and the Dutch are cheap" as both true and hilarious. Spain isn't Italy but it's tempting to wonder if there's some cross-pollination afoot. Hmm.

Scottish AND Dutch!! Can you believe it?? SO MISERLY!!

She is a bafflingly unfunny person who also seems congenitally incapable of receiving or understanding humor, but she will die before missing an opportunity to make a little joke about how cheap my father-in-law is because of his Scottish and Dutch heritage.

My uninformed feeling is he might rhetorically distance himself from Israel, but it's hard to imagine him actually committing to Palestinian liberation, yeah. I assume he wants to dodge anti-Israel backlash but isn't super interestee in much beyond that.

And—just checking my notes; it's important to get this right—we're supposed to do this in business casual attire?

Look, he's good at reading his client. Our guy is a feeler, not a thinker.
