I'm waiting to reread it one more time but my last finals have been taken, the last paper written. We're celebrating by trying Severance & I made chocolate chip Rice Krispie treats bc holidays. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hate it but hopeful that the science-er bff will like it.

This is kind of a weird humble brag I think but long story short: this is younger Brett Goldstein & he LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE MY EX HUSBAND it's pissing me off (yes he was super hot). I have a type for sure, although I'm thinking Goldstein isn't as mentally effed up as my boys usually are. WERE.

Knitting up my favorite baby blanket pattern for a friend who's expecting. I love this as a skein, hoping it works aesthetically. They are having a girl but aren't huge baby pink people so this seemed a good compromise.

Our last strings of lights finally came for the big (for here) pine tree out front. I still have stuff I want for next year but this is pretty gd festive.

I forgot: at Christmas time the town does these carriage rides, their route takes them right down our street.
I don't love working horses this way but I do love seeing them, they're so beautiful.

Yesterday was shite. So today, I took my personal Christmas back. Classy white in the living room, 80s in the bedroom, as has been my tradition for like 20+ years (basically since the white light came out).

Idk if elderly boy Harry thought his mummy (bff) was never coming back so he'd better be sweet to me or decided I was an acceptable stand in for his mummy. He has NEVER let me pet him like this & he sure af never purrs for me! I did give him food immediately post video.

Bff bought these amazing solar powered thingies, you can arrange the wires in whatever shape you want, I went with Star/sparkler. I had doubts but they're really very lovely!
