It’s not a mistake.

Most people in these professions are women.

It’s just another campaign in the GOP’s war on women.

From a nursing perspective, organisations (hospitals and other providers as well as insurers) will push the idea that nurses aren’t critical staff and thus lower costs by using less qualified and thereby cheaper staff. The problem is the evidence shows that fewer RNs leads to poorer outcomes.
