Queso on the other hand HATES it. So she gets minimal exposure. But she and Xena both do get exposure to uncomfortable situations at a low dose. (Ie we try the pilgrim hat and quickly say “nope”) 4/

I’m a firm believer that teaching cats to tolerate things like shirts is a good thing in the event of future medical issues. So costumes are part of my fostering AS CATS TOLERATE THEM.

Nutsy is a great example. You need to watch and listen to what they’re telling you. He does well with compression

His collar and bow ties are aggravating him so they’re off.

His safety and comfort are the priority. Always. He’s got oral medication that’s helping. Hopefully the dental reduces his discomfort. 3/

Compression or pressure on his backend aggravate the hyperesthesia. So longer shirts and sweaters aren’t working well.

The best options are his waffle knit shirts. Which are not festive, but are reducing his stress and keeping him comfortable. 2/

We know that vaccines aren’t zero risk. They’re very very low risk.

The trade off has always been that death rates are wildly higher for death due to the contagious illness vs the vax.

I’ve got two friends who have vaccine injury from the Covid vax. Both said getting the vax was the right call

I remember seeing pictures of them in one of my kid encyclopedias. I decided I wanted one as a pet. They’re beautiful animals.

That’s way too close. And yeah, wild hogs of all kinds are not anything you want to run into

For the both of you- what’s the favorite animal you’ve encountered in the wild?

Colorado Front Range FTW.

I had a black bear walk across the road in the park near the house
