finally getting around to trying out Panic! at the Dojo and holy crap this system is so fuckin cool
having the expectations of "every turn you're going to do cool shit, no wasted turns" is really nice! also you get to drill down and make interesting choices, even if your character plan is simple

I miss wanting to play MMOs
I still theoretically love the idea of huge persistent worlds and an alter ego you nurture over a long time, but the gameplay just doesn't hit anymore
maybe Pat was right. maybe I'm just playing the better MMO now (fighting games). instead of gear I have oki and combos
