I wanna signal boost this - I am looking to recruit a prospective PhD student to join my Stress and Health Equity lab at the University of Delaware in HDFS. My research concerns biopsychosocial mechanisms of health across the life course with an emphasis on stress and coping.

In these difficult times—when trans people, their health, & trans research are being targeted by the current admin—this issue represents a powerful/timely statement. Nursing Outlook is centering trans health & providing a platform for scholarship that affirms, protects, & uplifts trans communities.
Nursing Outlook continues to prioritize the health and well-being of transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive (TNGE) communities. I’m honored to serve as a guest editor—alongside Dr. Linda Wesp—for a special issue focused on Advancing Health Equity for TNGE Populations.
Deadline: 7/1/25

This office didn’t give out specific funding for research, but really helps to build capacity of junior researchers like myself. Another horrific cut to LGBTQIA+ research at NIH.

We shared our story about our NIH-funded LGBTQIA+ Alzheimer’s disease grants being terminated with Senator Markey team. It was brought up in yesterday’s hearing for new NIH director.

Our voices matter even if the outcomes don’t change.

I want to remind everyone that the far right sees transgender people as being worthy of segregation out of general society, "separate but equal" treatment that of course, is never equal.

So much so that Iowa Republicans literally tried to redefine the word equal to not mean "same" or "identical."
