I'm not saying that's necessarily appropriate

I'm pointing to his abhorrent rationale for the sentence

"It seems to me for whatever reason, she lost control and allowed her car to stray," said the judge.

Ah so no reason as given for losing control?

Better give the benefit of the doubt in culpability terms...

I'm surprised he didn't say the real victim here was the homicide-committing motorist

A truly extraordinary position by Judge Nolan

Who says he cannot find any culpability

Then goes on to identify the core culpability involved

Significantly over the speed limit & a failure to control your vehicle

If this was an "intentional" act

This would have been murder

A priest on the Virgin late night debate programme referred to their ilk as 'catholic isis' a year or two ago

And while it was amusing

It didn't sing to me like this
