There's a bunch of us who use it at work. We love it. Apart from enjoying the superior search results and not having AI spam thrown in our face, we like to make use of lenses.

The opt in LLM summaries are handy when we're looking for quick reference, like which method to use from a framework.

Especially because the target you've stated won't actually cover that median tech lead salary, given your splitting the money between other parts of the project!

If nothing else you should reword and increase the target accordingly for that reason alone.

It just conflates sponsorship of your salary vs sponsorship of the project.

One benefit of splitting it is that you could also seek personal sponsorship towards your income.

Personally, I don't find it weird. But I've been following Gleam for a long time and I'm very familiar with you and the project.

What adds confusion is the goal section:

> lpil's goal is to earn $10,538 per month
> Median "Tech Lead" salary in London, UK

I've noticed this as well. As with all things AI, it excites me, disappoints me and leaves me feeling anxious and unsure.

This... is totally different to how I recall the game!

Per-git-repo histories sound convenient. That alone could be reason enough to give it a try to be honest. Guess I'll be poking around with this at the weekend.

I've come across this project so many times and always found it vaguely interesting, but I've never once felt compelled to try it. What problem is it solving for you?
