I want to feel but fatigue's all I have Maybe try to scream but I am hoarse Right hand on neck but no pulse to count Desire to cry but the tears won't show Be it love or hate, anything will do A body that bleeds with no anima to know Numb is the soul, lost and not found, mine once before Just slap me awake anytime soon Past and present are locked in a void I am tired of living chained to a future that will never come.

Sapiosexual She blinks, innocent, as if she didn’t just explain quantum physics in Roblox terms People get distracted by your perfect shell But my mouth waters at your true spell Oh that mind of yours The way you bend ideas and words The way your tongue moves when you whisper "stationary birds!” Tell me more about how the cold and hot ocean currents dance forever in thermohaline circulation Because I’m feeling like the dense salty water and you’re looking a lot like the deep ocean formation You detail how global warming is the end, I ask if you’re sure you’re not the cause You frown for a sec, I explain and you turn red Maybe I should add something of value to the exchange Prove I am not as brute as I seem But I am so lost in the wrinkles of your bright brain I almost float away in my daydream So, tell me all about your specialty Are you by chance a botanist? Teach me the anatomy of a geranium Maybe you’re a chemist?
