🇬🇧Some entertainment, comics and Tarot. I only like drama in comic books.
🇪🇸Entretenimiento, cómics y Tarot. Me gusta la gente empática. Le huyo al drama.
With this book, I'm breaking my personal rule of not reading a story until it's finished. That's how I'm excited about the new Legion developments.

**SPOILERS SPOILERS** ...a bad call to include him in the story. But it does make sense to have him around. You know, with the pocket Earth and all that. Still, it'd be fun to see we're it goes, as long as he doesn't suck all the air of the story, as you guys mentioned in the podcast. 🤣

**EVEN MORE SPOILERS*** ...were portrayed perfectly. From Saturn Girl invading and manipulating Superman's mind to the magnetic powers of Rokk as he crushed the League's satellite (even if that was "imaginary").
Superboy Prime has a bad rep as a villain. No one likes him, and I think it was...

**MORE SPOILERS** I was surprised to actually see some good characterization from Williamson. The previous 10 issues or so were so lacking. As if he was sleep writing through them. Nevertheless, I'm glad he picked up.
Even if portrayed as villains, I felt Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy..

**Spoilers ahead!!!**
I loved this particular issue and your analysis as well! It looks like DC history finally includes a Superboy once again. I can't believe that Crisis move lasted so incredibly long, considering how many problems it created.
That scene with Superman and the ring was EVERYTHING!

And that's precisely why it stands apart from the most common relationships in herodom.
My guess is that he offered a kinder side of masculinity, and that always creates waves.

Well, in the long run, he couldn't stand the pressure, but I insist that he was good to her. Plus, he was o e of the very few partners who brought down to Earth vibes to their mate.

I always wondered why people disliked Terry this much. At least during the first series up to the wedding. He was good to her.

😅

Poor Vibe, but I remember him playing an interesting role in a different story much later. Just can't place it...

I never read this era of the Justice League. Maybe i should.
July 22, 2025 at 3:39 AM
I know what you mean. Calling him other than Mon-El still feels weird.

Yeah, the End of an Era kind of ruined things, but this specific story is really really good.
It's hard to picture it outside of End of an Era and Zero Hour, but it does stand on it's own.

This is adorbs.

Hahaha! I think I never read this series... but I did love Johns' Aquaman run!

Genial! Muchas gracias!

Y estos números están en línea?

…Doran’s work, it’s just mesmerizing. I think they didn’t get the best inker for her work, but the issue 20 got a splash page inked by her and it was just beyond stunning. Still, her work breaths life and emotions all around. She’s some of the best!

…you get past the very bad first ten issues (9 being the exception, but it was Waid’s fill-in issue for the series), you reach heaven. Valor was taken to new heights, and the character exploration gives him more depth than decades of him being part of the Legion of Super-Heroes. As for Colleen…

…seamlessly and that’s quite a task. Mark Waid and Colleen Doran took this once mediocre book and turned it into one of those beautiful hidden gems within the DC Universe. Valor is kind of the niche book within a niche market. I don’t see non Legion fans even caring for this old series, but once…

Hahaha! Not really. But there's certain joy in hating. 😅

For what it's worth, working on the letters and putting the whole thing together was a happy task.
