I’m going through the Legion Lost maxi-series, if only to listen to the latest Long Live the Legion podcast done by Jay and Jim ( @longlivethelegion.bsky.social ).
I have to say I’m enjoying it so much. I think it’s the first re-read I give it since it was published in 2000-2001. I’m a bad fan! 😂

I’m going through the Legion Lost maxi-series, if only to listen to the latest Long Live the Legion podcast done by Jay and Jim ( @longlivethelegion.bsky.social ).

I have no words to express how impressed I was with “Good-bye World”.
It’s a 12-episode Korean series that is an absolute masterpiece.
I love how Korean tv shows break the mold in the format, pacing, and how they approach all kind of matters.
It was so deeply emotional and exciting, all at once.

I'm used to the hedonism at the gym pouring all over the place, but when I saw this guy making "hot" faces to his own reflection, that's breaking into an entirely new level. 😅

So, this was the infamous annual that retconned Garth. Twisting such a beloved Legionnaire’s history would have never landed well. I wonder how the Bierbaums green lighted this pitch.
It does make perfect sense to me, but it kind of ruins Lightning Lad forever.

He is called Carbon, and I designed the character as commission work. I didn't really do it for the money since I'm very slow and couldn't charge for the time invested 😅. I did it for the thrill of it. I really liked how it turned out.
