All my artwork starts with an idea of where I'm going that evolves as I find my way there, but I most conscious of it with color work. I knew I wanted to reduce the color palette of all the surrounding villains in this #DoctorWho print so that #ChristopherEccleston's 9th Doctor popped visually.

If someone ever took another shot at reviving The #GreenHornet for live action, I think I'd rather it be a TV show than a movie. I'd love a gritty crime drama tone like a Taylor Sheridan series rather than leaning into the superheroics. I've always loved how grounded the premise of the Hornet was.

Two things about #StephenColbert's #LateShow cancellation:
1) I get that the shifting landscape of broadcast television means that late night talk shows aren't as profitable as they once work, but having the #1 show be the first to fall reinforces the idea that it's purely politically motivated.

If I were a famous actor, I'd want to very quietly do something like sound editing on an episode of NCIS just to really confuse people when they find it on imdb.

I'm convinced that Steve Rogers' uso costume was deliberately given an awkwardly ill-fitting neck because it's meant to be a little goofy and not his final #CaptainAmerica look, but it's dangerously close to looking badass anyway.

Not a lot of figure drawing on this page, but time spent recreating the graphic design of the various graphics & chyrons from the relevant news screen seen on the #YoungJustice TV show, matching the layouts and the fonts as closely as possible well fitting the screen onto the vertical comics page.

From #YoungJustice Targets #3: Interesting challenges trying to visualize Looker's powers on the comic book page, as well as translating #ElDorados' teleportation effect from animation. And I always love getting to draw Bat Family characters, including the #TimDrake #Robin.

The #Infinitors in action in #YoungJustice Targets. I really wanted those attacking Lex bots to feel like helicopters coming out of the darkness with searchlights. So many fun things to draw. Shapeshifting, super speed. Man, I loved drawing this comic.

I use speech-to-text on my phone a lot, and I wish I could give specific instructions to the voice recognition algorithms. I promise that 99 times out of 100 I am meaning to say "prints"when it hears me as "prince." And it comes up often enough to get really annoying.

Here's where those #Gargoyles characters from #YoungJustice Targets came from: "The Flashback of Notre Dame" from JLA Showcase #1, by myself and #GregWeisman. Inks by my buddy Mark Stegbauer. What a wonderful comics partnership has followed on from these beginnings! :-)
I love the design of the #JusticeLeague Watchtower as seen in #YoungJustice. I wanted an angle we hadn't seen on the show and something that had some real scale to it for this sequence. The meeting space inside is located in that little bubble at the top!

I was so tickled when drawing this #YoungJustice page knowing fans would spot the stone statues on this cathedral and think they were Disney's #Gargoyles. Of course, they are in fact creatures originally seen in JLA Showcase #1 in a story that marked my first collaboration with writer #GregWeisman.
