There are very few adaptations that I thought measured up to the episodes featuring original stories. Not only did they have to massively pad the story to fill out an episode of TV, but part of what made the original comic so great was the artwork and storytelling.

Usually when I'm at big convention like NYCC, I'll see somebody in a #YoungJustice cosplay walk right by my table without stopping. Now, I don't think every comics fan out there is expected to be interested in my stuff, but when I see a YJ fan blow past my table I'm all "...SERIOUSLY?"

When you use a friend of yours as photo reference for a character in the #DoctorWho comic you're drawing, and they end up as the illustration for the effects of the tissue compression eliminator on the Doctor Who wiki page.

Anytime I see a reference to #Hammer Film's Scars of Dracula I always wish there had been a scene like this but with Christopher Lee's Count and Peter Cushing's Van Helsing. #Dracula

There's an alternate reality version of the #NowYouSeeMe films I could really enjoy - with a lot of misdirection and playing fair with the art of illusion. But movies with people unconvincingly performing a bunch of improvised sleight of hand that's all accomplished on screen with CGI? I'll pass.

I think #StarTrek II #TheWrathOfKhan is an almost perfect film, but I really would love one last shot of Khan in that moment when the Enterprise goes to warp just before the Genesis Device detonates.

Every time I hear #DCComics is doing a new reboot of the Legion of Superheroes it breaks my heart a little bit that I'm not drawing it. The Legion has long been a favorite and I would love to bring some of my #YoungJustice experience to that title! #LOSH

#SouthWest Airlines has all these ads showing people ecstatic they're switching from open seating to assigned seating, but I'm deeply saddened. I've been fiercely brand loyal to SouthWest for 20 years, but now over a 6 months span they've announced the ending of every policy that made me that way.

The most amazing thing about Edward Hopper's painting "Nighthawks" is that it depicts clothing and architecture from the 1940s, but the painting has been dated back to the renaissance period.
