Yesterday, we saw another legislative seat flip (this time in TX!) for the 8th time in the past year. This doesn’t happen by accident - it happens when we care for our neighbors and families. So today, our team bundled-up to greet folks like Leah, Ruth, and Joe at their doors🚪💙💛 #CaringforKentucky

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, I’m sharing this photo of Andrea’s grandparents because the Holocaust isn’t distant history for our family. Her grandmother survived Auschwitz. Her grandfather survived a Nazi labor camp.

Honored to join Dr. Josephine Mei to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Louisville NCNW MLK Day Breakfast. Grateful to Dr. Drake, Rev. Phelps, Rev. Weems, NCNW President Cheryl Rhodes, and Councilwoman McCraney for inspiring us to live MLK’s call for freedom and justice.

John 1:9 says, "The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world."

This Christmas Eve, let us remember that He is the light and that He guides us to show kindness, love and forgiveness. That is how we build a better world for everyone.

Exciting news - we're officially on the ballot! Together with our family and friends, Dean and I traveled to Frankfort to file my candidacy to serve as your next State Senator for District 6. This moment would not be possible without the encouragement, love, and support so many of you have provided.
