Interesting how two of the songs recorded at the session were on Brian’s ‘top pops’ of 1961 as listed in the Jan ‘62 issue of Mersey Beat. Clearly, some arms being twisted.

Could it be Charlie Chaplin?
The eyes and cheekbones are very similar.
It’s incredible that the identity has remained a mystery for so long - and the original source photo most exist… somewhere!

Many suggest that it could be Amelia Earhart (probably due to the jacket) - while others think it might be Just William author Richmal Crompton (whose misspelled name appears on Neil Aspinall’s original handwritten list)
