Oct 27, stepdaughter found 2 "stray" kittens and gave them to us. I like cats and I had 1 when I met wife. Wife has not had cats.
1 has FeLV and we are keeping them separated until the other's vax is done.
The dogs are confused, but are getting along with new siblings.

This is my last picture of Bella. She's been unable to walk without help for a few days and she would get out of breath after and sleep. She stopped eating and could barely drink for the last 2 days. Today she was diagnosed with tumors on her lungs and we said goodbye.
Love you pup.

A siberian husky named Lucky. The hair between his nose and mouth appears dark against his mostly white face. This is usually white, but can appear black when the hairs change angle. He looks serious, like a restaurant host telling you that, even though you see several empty tables, the restaurant is fully booked and cannot seat you.

My clothes dryer has been collecting dimes and pennies. I don't know if that caused one of the drum rollers to seize. When I found it, the roller was turning but making a loud thump. I was able to replace the roller and it's thump-free now, for a few hours work and less than $25 in parts.
4 pennies and three dimes I found inside my clothes dryer. 1 dime is bent and the other 2 dimes have a flat edge. Next to the coins is the drum roller with a flat edge.

Zoom in on Lucky's face. Bella laid down on him and he didn't move. He needs 2 beds together now to stretch out because of the vestibular disease. My wife moved Bella right after taking this. Bella has been lying near Lucky more often since he got sick last week.

Scratch that, got a text from the dog sitter that Lucky went down and couldn't get up. Emergency vet diagnosed him with vestibular disease. Might be inner ear or brain. Vet said he may adjust to it and be able to walk in a day or two.
It's been a rough week for Lucky and Bella.
Lucky, a siberian husky and Bella a black mixed-breed dog lying on a carpet. Bella was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy 3 days ago and could barely move. She has improved after a change in her meds.

I'm going to take my blind husky to an event that only allows service dogs, except I'll wear a vest that says "service human" and if anyone tries to talk to me I'll hand them a card that says, "I'm in training. Please don't pet"

Vet sent recommendation for anti-knuckling shoes and they'll arrive today with a butt harness so we can help Bella walk. In the meantime she's wearing her walking harness.
The new seizure med doesn't make Bella as sleepy but she had a seizure last night.
