I really hate it when the interview is cutoff. Was there follow up on this question. I imagine there wasn’t but what is the point of cutting off the interview after an ineffective response?

You've broken our trust. We showed up in record numbers to protest and vote in support of the stand you all were making. And you betrayed that trust. Good luck getting that margin of victory again. You wasted that moment.

If you don’t intend to replace Schumer then shut up. That would be the least you could do to try to assuage our anger.

I appreciate you taking the time to post this thread, but I hope you appreciate that the only way to regain the trust of many who feel betrayed, myself included, is for Schumer and Durbin to step down from leadership immediately. The situation is untenable and must be addressed before the next vote
