Just in case anyone thinks using a train in the UK is a good idea. It's horrible! No seats on our BOOKED 2 hour journey. The heating is on so it's sweltering. Sit on the filthy floor or stand. We're also traveling at walking pace. Any idea how to explain to my children why it's so bad?
