any politician that can't name all the players in at least three of the lineups of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers should be barred from holding office

I've been 30 years in technical QA and you doing the Lord's work here.
I love the part of coding that is testing and cleaning, testing and cleaning. It's often considered tedious but I've always found it soothing, like taking a bubble bath.

I'm still buzzing from the Stanley Clarke show last night. That was the best concert I've heard since I don't even know when.

"The move puts the company in even more direct competition with its top rival, Substack." is not a sentence you would have seen in major media even a few months ago. www.inc.com/ben-sherry/b... I'll be back to shitposting soon but enough of y'all follow this kind of thing and we did a good job here

I think Sassy the dog with bass needs a reskeet.
Sassy will be producing your new album. She is an industry veteran. She is ready to hear your demos now.

@renice.bsky.social I think this is your sort of thing

Natalie Cressman’s folks are #jazz musicians. Her dad also played trombone w/ Carlos Santana’s band.

Brazilian trained guitarist Ian Faquini met Natalie through collaboration with her dad. The pair have since put out 3 albums together.

Happy Tuesday.

I have been informed that @beehiiv.com has more than 10,000 RSVPs for our Winter Release Event. That's kind of amazing actually. I just passed 3 years working here, it's been pretty great. I don't say that about many jobs I've had in the last 30 years.
The hype is kind of funny but we did put a lot of effort into the Winter Release Event. If you're interested in the bleeding edge of newsletter platforms, this is worth signing up for.

My Sunday afternoon? The usual, out running red lights in my Chevrolet Behemoth with the LIVE LAUGH LOVE bumper sticker, peering myopically over the dashboard, grey hair flying in the breeze.

Super local but there's a job opening at NMED Planning & Operations Section Manager closing Monday and I know some people who would love to see some great candidates. Pay is good. careers.share.nm.gov/psc/hprdcg/E...
