The front page of today's Daily Mail refers to the 2025/26 budget as the one "we've all been dreading".

Remind me, how did they respond to the one where Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng fucked the country's finances sideways..? 🤨

You know when you Google something right before you go to sleep and then find the open browser tab a couple of days later? 😆

Think this is the first time I’ve seen Justin Hawkins on stage with a shirt on. 🤣 #VEDay80

The issue with this analogy is that the guy claiming that the USA has stage 4 cancer is essentially a faith healer. Not only is he lying to you, but he has no interest in curing you and is focused exclusively on making himself and his fellow charlatans richer.

MCG looking absolutely magnificent. 😍 Pretty happy with that scoreboard at three quarter time too. 🐯

The reaction from the Aussies to this story has been (as you might expect) superb. Personal highlight for me was when the Prime Minister suggested this woman should fight an actual crocodile. 🤣

I grew up in Melbourne in the 80s and went to a Catholic school. Was utterly clueless as to why once a year we were taken to mass to “celebrate” Ash Wednesday. Remember thinking it was kinda tasteless. 😳

Always hilarious watching films set in London having now lived here for a few years.

Case in point, in Bridget Jones’s Baby a very pregnant Bridget Jones walks from her flat in Borough Market to Mark Darcy’s house in Ealing, which would take roughly … five hours. 🤣

Tomorrow would have been my grandfathers 105th birthday. Decided to add a “historical” contact record to my phone to remind me each year, but was worried the year picker might not go all the way back to 1920.

I needn’t have worried. 😆

I was today years old when I learned that the word “shart” is on Wordle’s allowed answers list.
