The near-forgotten comic tie-in to the only-slightly-less-forgotten Superboy series got a Christmas issue. Too bad they didn't do a Christmas episode...
Cover to The Adventures of Superboy (as seen on TV) #12. A startled Superboy is surprised to see the citizens of Smallville take flight over a snowy townscape. If nothing else, the series is noteworthy for being amongst the last regular Superman-related artwork by the greatest artist of them all: Curt Swan. He kinda got the shaft in the 1986 reboot.

My turkey, just finishing the first phase of his two-step roasting journey. Pro Tip: if you're planning on making a pan drippings gravy (and why aren't you?!) instead of a metal rack, make a bed or thickly sliced onions and ribs if celery. Thank me later!

Kirk and Spock figures from 1979, themed to Star Trek: The Motion Picture. As happens with tie-in toys, the Spock isn't super accurate to the film; specifically he is wearing a two-toned uniform, more similar to Kirk's Admiral's uniform than the all-blue pajamas of the film. I think it's a better look here. Had they gone with this look, perhaps the Monster Maroon wouldn't have been a thing.

A bowl of simple homemade cranberry relish. It is easy to make and easy to take! It's worth the 15 minutes of active work and then few hours in the fridge. Please ignore the canned junk in the upper corner, it was for my wife's grandfather and he might be going senile...
