Out of curiosity is your Cube one of the models with the digital out port on the back? If so, then you can take advantage of one of the GC video solutions which pulls digital videos straight from the cube and converts it to HDMI. Usually with a liner doubler for interlaced only games.

If you want something that’s good I would steer clear of this. It’s likely the same as the generic composite to HDMI adapter boxes, which use the same kind of upscaling chips that you find in TVs with AV jacks on them. So it’ll look like crap with games because it’s designed for video content.

The remote is just a generic remote, but on that site, you can buy a sticker that has proper labels for what the buttons do with the OSSC. And all the buttons do get used if I remember correctly.

That’s just what the old the case for the OSSC looks like. If you buy an OSSC from sites like video game protection, it comes with a new 3D printed case that has the whole thing enclosed aside from the two buttons.

What do you mean? The set I have only has Blu-ray Discs. And I never noticed anything off with the framing.

But the standard 40th anniversary trilogy set has really nice cover art for each of the movies. Where it's basically just the original poster for each movie, but more.

I only have the 30th anniversary release in the standard book casing with a slipcover, but I do plan on getting the 40th anniversary 4k set. I'm mainly held off because I still think the 1080p transfers look pretty good.
