#NotBeerBods none more retro. With just Kentish Fuggle hops and a straightforward malt selection. Balanced like a gibbon in a tree - confidentally comfortable. The only surprise in store would be how quickly a quick one could turn into session. Gorgeous

An early night, I think. Double plus good, big bitterness and all the hop aroma bases covered. Pine resin most distinctive. Not sure what to follow it with.

Skirrid looks the business from the countryside around it but is a modest scenic walk. This beer is modest too. Trad, malty, balanced bitterness and a definite “I’ll have another”. A comfortable supping ale
