Dozens of protesters showed up to the San Diego City Council meeting to oppose Sean Elo-Rivera's proposed vacation rental tax. They wore matching blue shirts and held signs saying “Keep San Diego Affordable: Say No to the Rental Tax." But, as it turns out, they'd been paid and bused down from LA.

this has got to stop
this is just a couple "normal" months in the San Francisco Bay Area, where most violent crimes are committed by violent drivers and also, cops and cities don't enforce laws against driver violence.

Drivers in @sandiego are completely out of control. An uber driver almost hit my wife on Saturday coming back from Ride the Point. He was trying to use the bike lane on Harbor Dr to skip traffic.
Holy shit dude how did this driver get on the Perishing bikeway??

I went out to the East San Diego County road where the Trump administration revoked a $1.165 million safety grant because they thought the project was "hostile to motor vehicles."
After walking around there, it was clear the current design is hostile to *pedestrians.*

Great walk today at the McAlister Walk for Sobriety. Amazing to think about the lives saved by the McAlister Institute over the years. Such critical work in San Diego helping those suffering from addiction.
