I think it's really rad that instagram is now starting to feed me right wing influencer bros in its feed. I probably paused on one guy's video for like 3 seconds, and it was instantly like, "Oh you like that one? Great, here's 5000 more drooling cretins for you to enjoy!"

I'm seeing smart people who I like praise this commercial, and I'm honestly not seeing what they're seeing. It is the worst kind of nostalgia bait, just dropping familiar lines into the mouths of heavily CGI-ed celebrities. It's as if ChatGPT created the whole thing.

People will critique the Minneapolis ICE resistance for not, I dunno, abolishing all police or seizing the means of production or whatever, but I find it extremely heartening that there really is a point at which regular American people will be like, get the fuck outta here.

I sorta clowned on Geese the other day, but I am very pro all bands doing abrasive off-putting SNL performances. Honestly any band worth their salt should aspire to getting a lifetime ban from SNL.

A thing about video game people is that they will tell you how rich and immersive they are, like the works of great literature, and then you will see them play and they will just spend all their time gleefully mowing down innocent bystanders or driving an ambulance into a swimming pool or something.
